Chandigarh: 112 reputed speakers from 25 countries including top cardiologists, cardiovascular and thoracic surgeons and doctors across the country and from US, Canada, Japan and UK, will participate in a three day 15th annual Cardiomersion Global Conference 2025 here from June 5.
Cardiomersion was founded in 2011 with an aim of spreading awareness about comprehensive management of cardiovascular diseases.
This year’s conference is being held on a hybrid model with foreign participants gathering at Rome while Indian counterparts will join from Chandigarh. All Indian experts will also gather at a hotel here on June 6 to discuss the latest cardiovascular care updates.
Dr Deepak Puri founder chairman of Cardiomersion and senior director, CTVS at Max Hospital, Mohali said that the 15th conference will focus on an integrated approach for comprehensive cardiovascular care with insightful sessions, expert discussions, and collaborative exchanges between experts from across the globe held under the theme of ‘clinical prospects of drug research and interventions in cardiovascular thoracic disease management with an aim to share advancing technologies with advancing clinical and surgical skills ’.
The conference will also provide a comprehensive platform for the latest advancements and innovations in the management of cardiovascular diseases (CVD), he informed.
On June 6 , an award winning short film “Rakhiye Dil Ka Khayal Dil Se” made by Dr Deepak Puri and his Cardiomersion team will also be released here . The film has been awarded the best director award in the Indies Film Festival & appreciation award in Swastik Film Festival. The film highlights why youngsters are having sudden heart attack deaths.
