Chandigarh, March 22, 2025: In remembrance of the ultimate sacrifice made by the great freedom fighters Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev, a grand blood donation camp was organized by the lawyers of Chandigarh at the District Court, Sector 43, on the occasion of Martyrs’ Sacrifice Day, March 23. The camp was inaugurated by Sanjay Tandon, National Executive Member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and Co-incharge of BJP Himachal Pradesh.
The event saw overwhelming participation from both the youth and women, who actively took part in this noble cause by donating blood.
Among those present at the event were Ashok Chauhan, President of the District Bar Association, NK Nanda, former President, Advocate Rohit Khullar, Rajesh Sharma, Sachin Lohatia, Baljeet Singh, Sahil Anand, Tejvinder Singh Hundal, Khushwinder Singh, District President of BJP Chandigarh, Meenakshi Juneja, Mandal President, Jagdeep Kumar, Satpal Verma, Yashpal Yadav, Preeti Verma, and Lalit Sharma.
During the camp, the chief guest, Sanjay Tandon, visited each blood donor personally, offering words of encouragement and presenting certificates of appreciation. Speaking on the occasion, he remarked, “Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev embodied the essence of patriotism to such an extent that they faced the gallows with smiles on their faces, knowing their sacrifice would shake the foundations of the British regime. Their contributions to India’s struggle for freedom can never be forgotten, and their legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.”
This event not only honored the memory of our martyrs but also exemplified the spirit of selfless service and patriotism.
