In a significant step towards empowering Punjab’s youth, a certificate distribution ceremony was held today at Punjab Bhawan, Chandigarh, where Dr. Vikramjit Singh Sahney, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Chairman of Sun Foundation, along with Employment Generation Minister Aman Arora, awarded certificates to 30 graduates who have successfully got placed in various banks after completing their Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector skill course.
Dr. Sahney informed that these students were trained under a skill development program funded by the Sun Foundation in collaboration with IFM Fincoach and have secured placements in prestigious organizations such as Axis Bank, Yes Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Star Health Insurance.
Dr. Sahney, stated that they are formally launching the BFSI Skill program also in Punjab at its various World Class Skill Centres in Punjab and have mandate from various Banks to employ over 500 youth of Punjab, He appealed to the youth of Punjab to come and enroll for this Free-of- Cost program and get job in various Banks.
On this occasion Punjab’s Employment Generation Minister Aman Arora expressed his appreciation for the initiative, noting, “This program aligns with our vision to create more employment opportunities for the youth of Punjab. I congratulate the graduates and MP Vikramjit Singh Sahney for this commendable effort in uplifting and skilling our youth.”
