
Chandigarh, 28 April 2025: The Jump Rope Sports Association of Chandigarh successfully organised the Third State Jump Rope Championship at Aanchal Public School, Sector 41. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from nearly 100 students representing various schools and colleges across the Tricity region, who showcased their impressive skills and competitive spirit.
The event was graced by Kamal Tyagi, President, 50 Ball Cricket Association of Chandigarh, who attended as the Chief Guest and honored the winners by presenting medals. Distinguished guests including the Association’s General Secretary Bimalpreet Kaur, Treasurer Gurinder Singh, and members Pradeep Dogra, Ashish, and Yuvraj Sharma were also present and contributed to the success of the event.
Association’s General Secretary Bimalpreet Kaur informed that students participated enthusiastically in the Sub-Junior, Junior, and Senior categories for both boys and girls. Winners were felicitated with Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals. She further shared that the Association plans to organize this championship on an even larger scale in the future and expressed appreciation for the remarkable performances by the students. She extended heartfelt gratitude to all participating students, their coaches, schools, and the organizing team for their cooperation and efforts.
The judging of the championship was conducted by International Taekwondo Referee, Mr. Gaurav Saini.
Results of the Championship
In the Sub-Junior Girls category, Seerat from Sri Guru Gobind Singh Senior Secondary School, Sector 35, won the Gold medal, Niyamatpreet Kaur from Smart Wonder School, Mohali, secured the Silver medal, and Ridhman Kaur Atwal from The Knowledge Bus Global School earned the Bronze medal. In the Sub-Junior Boys category, Anurag Kumar from Dev Samaj School, Sector 21, bagged the Gold medal, Mihir Singh from KB DAV School, Sector 7, won the Silver medal, and Taminder Singh Atwal from The Knowledge Bus Global School claimed the Bronze medal.
In the Junior Boys category, Atharv Tyagi from Tender Heart School clinched the Gold medal, Naitik Kumar from Shivalik School took the Silver medal, and Ayush from Aanchal International School received the Bronze medal. In the Junior Girls category, Smith from Aanchal International School secured the Gold medal, Suvarin Kaur from Shivalik Public School won the Silver medal, and Avni from Aanchal International School bagged the Bronze medal.
In the Senior Boys category, Virendra Pratap from Bhago Majra College won the Gold medal, Mohammad Irshad Khan from Manimajra secured the Silver medal, and Suraj Kumar from Aanchal International School earned the Bronze medal. In the Senior Girls category Tamanna from Bhago Majra College clinched the Gold medal, Khushi from Khalsa College, Sector 26, took the Silver medal, and Muskan from Khalsa College won the Bronze medal.
