Mohali, June 16, 2026: Dr. Sangeeta Jain, Civil Surgeon Mohali on Tuesday inaugurated a state-of-the-art PET-CT facility at Livasa MedCentre, Mohali. Anurag Yadav, CEO, Livasa Hospitals was also present during the occasion.
Yadav said that the new facility is expected to enable faster, more accurate diagnoses and support personalized treatment strategies for cancer patients across the region.
The addition of this technology strengthens Livasa’s comprehensive oncology ecosystem and ensures patients have access to advanced diagnostic services closer to home, he informed.
The PET-CT facility will significantly enhance our diagnostic capabilities and strengthen multidisciplinary cancer care by enabling clinicians to make informed treatment decisions with greater precision and confidence, said Dr. Jatinder Arora, senior vice president–operations
Commenting on the clinical significance of PET-CT imaging, Dr. Anupam Gauba said, “PET-CT has transformed the way cancer is diagnosed and managed.
