Students of Class 10 of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh, proudly hosted their Annual Scholar Badge Ceremony and Class Show on May 22, 2026, celebrating the academic achievements of its high-performing students. The event, held in the school auditorium, was attended by esteemed dignitaries and parents.
The programme commenced with a welcome address followed by cultural show-
Jharokha: A Canvas of Emotions
The show was a heartfelt celebration of the many emotions that shape our lives — joy, peace, courage, fear etc. Through vibrant performances, music, dance, and drama, the students of Class X took the audiences on an emotional journey that reflected the colours of human experiences and the spirit of growing up.
The Scholar Badge ceremony recognized students who demonstrated exceptional academic performance and excelled in sports and co-curricular activities in the previous academic year. Scholar badges were awarded as a mark of honour and motivation, symbolizing the school’s commitment to nurturing excellence and perseverance.
School Director Mrs Reema Dewan addressed the august gathering and expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the awardees and the students who had put in their best efforts to make this event a huge success. She stated that students inspire others and uphold the values we hold dear at Delhi Public School, Chandigarh. She also said that DPS is proud of each one of them and confident they will continue to shine in all walks of life. The chief guest Ms Shashi Prabha Dwiwedi, IPS, SDGP, Railways, Punjab, graced the occasion by her presence and appreciated the students for their splendid performance and advised them to limit the use of social media. Mr Kanwar V P Singh PPS, SP, Security and Intelligence, Punjab Prisons HQs, Chandigarh was the Guest of Honour for the function.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a renewed sense of motivation among students to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits.
