Octogenarian defeats tongue cancer at Livasa Hospital


Chandigarh: Defying age and showing exemplary determination, a 85-year-old female patient defeated tongue cancer after successful treatment at Livasa Super Specialty Hospital, Mohali .
She underwent a partial glossectomy with radial artery free flap reconstruction, followed by adjuvant chemoradiation at Livasa.
She is now in excellent health—energetic, positive, and cancer-free.
